Is Windows Vista ready to buy right now ? I read that a lot of people say that Windows Vista have alot of problems but I don't know....thinkin about to order off eBay..

I've had a new Gateway GT5464 with Vista, I haven't ran into any problems yet, I hope what you heard isn't true, I had an XP before so it's a challenge learning my way around this different format, probably wouldn't be for someone that was computer savy.

First you need to make sure your computer meets Vista's system requirements. If so, I'd say give it a shot. most new operating systems have bugs, I haven't heard of any really major bugs in it yet, just some minor ones. just make sure to download all updates from microsoft to fix any bugs. I have vista on my second hard drive and haven't had any major problems yet. anyways, I think you'll be fine as long as your pc meets system requirements and you keep it updated.

It depends on if your computer is 32 or 64 bit. Most likely its 32. if its 64 it should say on the front somewhere. or you can post the make and model of your pc here and someone can tell you.
