Vista error

I'm using the dreaded vista and when I try to open My Computer or a My Document shortcut I get a "class not registered" error. My IE locks-up when I try to download a file and when I click on a link that opens a new window.

I'm not sure if these errors are related, but they seemed to occur at the same time.

Hi VISTAGrim. Have you tried using System Restore to restore to a time before this happened?
