Picasa upload failed

I have recently installed Googles Picasa for uploading pictures to the web,it also stores,copies to cd ,email etc and is fantastic but it won't let me upload to the web.I have been on their own forum and this is the most asked question but no one yet has succeeded.Can anyone throw any light on this.I have disabled MacAfee thinking it may be blocking the upload but this had no effect.

It seems that clearing my internet cache has cured the problem,I discovered by chance

I tried Picassa a while back and found it very obtrusive into my system, so binned it off, but hey it might just be me.
