ok, my newest issue i want to work on is giving Kubuntu a nice look. i have emerald theme manager but it seems i cant install any of the themes i get from it. I also want to be able to install Compiz or beryl, I've heard they both look great.
I went to a theme sight for Linux and it had many OS X themes and Vista themes, but i couldn't figure them out. so if anyone wants to help me out here it would be very appreciated.
Also, i don't know where to set the resolution of the screen, i think its on the lowest right now.

1. to set the screen resolution, go to a terminal and type 'sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg'.
2. I haven't had much experience with kubuntu, but your best bet is to install 'beryl-manager', 'beryl-core' and possibly beryl (if it isn't included) (you say you already have emerald-themes-manager which is good)
then go system>beryl-manager>right click on the beryl icon in your system tray>highlight window decorator>select emerald
and btw beryl won't work if you have Gutsy installed (the latest version).

well unfortunatly for me, i just updated to the newest version today. but ove been hearing that it does work, but oh well. thanks for the resolution help.
Does anyone know how to setup Compiz Fusion? ive been seeing screenshots around of desktops running compiz and it looks amazing, and they run better than vista so I'd like help with that as well.
Btw is there a way to get the emerald themes working without beryl? or can i load them into the normal themes manager that comes with kubuntu?
