can't open email links

Hey everyone.

For the past few days, I haven't been able to open any links, such as those that come in emails or on websites. I now always have to cut and paste the url into my browser. Did I accidentally give a command that I can undo?

if you have any type of popup stopper, try pressing ctrl key as you click on the link.

If pressing the Ctrl key doesn't work and if you're using Internet Explorer and Outlook Express, try the fix on this page (http://inetexplorer.mvps.org/answers/26.html). Although it refers to "blank, empty, see-through pages," the steps can fix the "links don't work" problem as well.

On that page the instructions start after the line, "You may have a broken entry in file associations."

I recommend you scroll down to the "regsvr32" commands and run them first. That often fixes the problem.
