uid 1000 error and graphic card problems
I triple boot Kubuntu 7.1 64 with Ultimate Windows Vista 64 and Xandros Home Premium.
I have two problems I cannot figure out with Kubuntu 1. First whenever I want to see other drives, I get hal-storage-fixed-mount refused uid 1000 error. I can only see the drive that has Kubuntu installed on it. I cannot even see the drive with Xandros Linux on it. I found a fixed that required a NTFS installation but am unable to open the NTSF configuration tool. 2. Also I run a dual monitor and have a VisionTek Radeon X1300 512 video card. I like one big screen instead of having two monitors that shows the same. I am able to make the changes but the apply is greyed out.
