Crysis Demo out!

i got the demo last night, it is over a gig download, but worth it. on my Vista pc specs, it runs on mainly low, but it still looks about as good as quake 4. im going to wait till i get my new cpu and gfx card before i buy the game.

how do you think it will run on my system?
AMD Athlon 4000+ Overclocked from 2.4GHz to 2.8GHz
1GB DDR 400 RAM Patriot brand
Geforce 6800GT 256MB
Running Windows Vista

I think it needs more RAM...

well, my system ran it on low. so yours will run it on low, but maybe on a lower resolution or slower fps.

oh i got it and played through it twice today
hehe
it runs on the alienware
1280x1024 resolution
details, shadows etc on low, some on medium
little to no lag, very playable

i put it on my laptop
Mobile Sempron 3000+
1GB DDR RAM
Radeon Xpress 200M video card/chipset - 128MB Shared video memory

on low and at 800x600 it lagged like crazy
