I downloaded a critical update package for wondows 98 se on microsofts site. Ever since I downloaded it my pc has been chugging and running slowly. I went to microsofts site and found that the update package can not be uninstalled. I downloaded windows media player 7.1 to watch some video. After I did I couldn't locate the player. It never showed on my desktop even though I checked the short cut box to have it show up on my desktop. Same thing happened when I downloaded msn messenger I can't find it and when I reboot my pc it doesnt show up. I have a compaq presario running windows 98 533 meg AMD K6-2 w/3DNOW 30 gig hard drive 26.79 gigs of free space ide cd-r/rw 4x4x24 cd rom 56 megs of mem 64 meg module one installed one free mem socket. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm looking into this. I don't want you to think we forgot about you. I'll get back to you in a little while. I've got church to attend!
