Running stalker on Vista

OK It loads up fine, but when the gameplay part come up, the mini map and health come up fine sound is fine but the maln screen starts out black, then if i look around its like the graphics all merg together like bluring. umm its hard to explain, like when you desktop crashes and you try moving a window around and the window outline stay wereever you drag it, that make sense:hmm:

i have tried

1 Running as admin

2 Changing compatability to XP SP2

anyone got any suggestions?

Ok i got it working by turning the light setting to static, but after playing for say 20mins, it took me back to windows and tol me my display driver have recoverd and i had to resart my pc :( that carnt be good surley
