I am currently using Norton Anti-Virus and for some reason it keeps turning off virus protection by itself. It does not turn back on even when I try to do it manually. All other conponents work, for example anti phishing, etc.
First of all this is what I get

If I go to change that this is what I get

If I try to turn it back on this is what I get

And this is what I get after LiveUpdate has run.

It will run LiveUpdate every time I try to fix the problem. Initially a small window was popping up with a link to Symantecs technical support site and I downloaded a fixing tool. This seemed to reslolve the problem for about 10 minutes, and then it went again.
I seem to remember this happening months ago but I forget how I resolved it. I remember it was a pain though. Does anybody know what I can do?
Thank you in advance.
