Question Need good Graphics Card

I've been getting a bunch of new games and my current graphics card is getting a bit slow for them. My current graphics card is a Intel(R) 82865G Graphics Controller which looks like a bunch of goobledeygook and is the original for my PC. Ive been looking for a card with both Transform and Lighting and Pixel Shader Support but im not sure if all the more modern graphics card come with these. I'd like it to have 256mb vram minimum but a 512mb would be nice. Could someone plz tell me the best value Graphics Card I could get with those specs that would be nice.

That's an onboard graphics adapter. What computer do you have? It matters as we need to know if you have a video slot inside your computer to be able to tell you which one to get. They come in PCI (very slow and won't be much better than your onboard), AGP (still some good cards in this type), and PCI-e (the lastest which comes in a lot of types, and sizes).

The System Info Window says that my computer is a HP d330 uT(DL377P). I havent changed anything that would affect the GPU as far as I know hardware-wise so my motherboard is still the same-Ive only put in a new HDD and another Cd Drive.

HP doesn't recognize that model number. What is on the front of the computer? There should be a model number either on the front of the case or on that back on a tag.

If you still can't find it, maybe Everest in the link in my signature will. Download Everest Free Version and install to your computer, once installed, open it, and click on the word Computer in the left hand window. In the right side window it should say which HP you have.

And the link below shows you how to find the exact model number and model name on an HP:

No, it didn't really help. I put the last numbers you gave me in HP's search and it came up with a Compaq D330. The link below shows the D330, but I need to know if this is indeed your computer.

You have an AGP slot on that motherboard that's in that computer. So what ever one you decide to buy would have to be in that type.

There are still some high end graphics cards that come in the AGP type, but I need to know how much you're able to spend on one before I post a link.

Which would be a waste of time anyway because you'd still only get AGP performance out of it unless you changed motherboard.
