HElp!!! mee

I just got my computer not 2 long ago and have no idea how to use it properly. ive been burning my cds using windows media player for a while then got real player for some unknown reason...but any ways now when i burn in windows my songs are saved as real player files... i cant play the music back in my cd player :hmm: any tips to fix this or am i finally gunna have to invest in an ipod? and how can you burn over somthing already on the disc?

I'm just guessing, but if you right click a music file you can choose the "open with" function and choose WMP and then check the box at the bottom of the window that says "Always use this program to open this type of file" (or something close) and it will automatically change all of your music files to WMP files. I think...
