window explorer error message

hey, i need a little help here.

Just got a new computer, Windows Vista Premium Edition, it was working fine then all of a sudden a message keeps appearing saying "windows explorer has stopped working" then "windows explorer is restarting..." this keeps popping up every 30 seconds or so.

I can't get into anything except IE!

Any help appreciated.

Welcome to CTH

Right click on my computer, go to properties, down on the right hand corner, click on performance, then in the same place click on problem reports, and see if the problem is listed. Is it??
