Start Bar error

I've been using a brand new copy of Vista on a brand new comp, but recently the start bar has decided it doesn't want to work with me.

After a while on the comp, when I click on the Start bar, nothing happens. The only way I can get it to open is be double pressing on the windows button on my keyboard. Sometimes, even that does not work.

Anyone have the same problem, or have a solution?

Hi SXSchickenSXS. Set a restore point please and then go here (http://h1.ripway.com/AnnieFriday/Startbutton.reg) and download Startbutton.reg to your Desktop. Doubleclick on it and ok the prompt to merge with your registry. Reboot and let us know if this helped.
