CA anti virus

I downloaded a trial version of CA anti virus and decided I didn't want it. I tried to uninstall it through the add/remove programs and the program is not listed there. I then tried to delete the program files through explorer and CA will not allow delete.

How do I get rid of this nightmare? I have been trying for 2 days to rid my computer of it. I am using Windows Vista home edition operating system.:curse:

Hi pineapple67. The usual method to fix a problem such as yours is to reinstall the offending program, reboot and try uninstalling again. If there is no entry in Programs and Features, it sounds as though there might have been a problem with the original installation.
