Outlook 2003 - Mass Emailing Issue - Need help today please

Hi all....

I'm attempting to send a mass email for work.

I use outlook 2003 on our companies VPN.

I created 6 distibution lists with a total of 450 or so contacts.

When I would create the 6 emails to send out, i would then attempt to send one of them and receive a "Operation Failed" box, with only an "OK" option. No more information offered.

I then took the 6 lists and shortened each which resulted in 10 lists. I did this thinking there may have been too many contacts per list.

I then attempted to send the email to 1 of the 10 and I received the same "Operation Failed."

I need to send this out today, 11/10.

I will really appreciate any help..............

have you checked with your companies IT person to see if they put any restrictions on mass mailing?

Yes, I have. They claim 140 or so should be fine. I have 450 broken up into 10 distribution lists, well under the 140 I'm told will work.......

Any ideas?
