Hello
I am trying to install nero 7 from a c/d on to Vista and half way through it says
(shell manager data base is corrupt or missing) and i can not go any further with the install.
Please can any one help.:confused:

Are you running the demo version of Nero 7? You might want to check out http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/335606 thread for some help. One of the threads has a link to the Nero uninstall tool.

Nero 7 has compatibility problems with Vista alben45. You need to upgrade to Nero 8.

Did what you suggested, every thing is now ok and up and running.

Hi I have taken your advice and ran nero uninstall tool, and it worked ok.
Decided to run with nero 8, best for (vista).
