Problems with Internet and Applications

Hi, I am new and was wondering if anyone could help me out. A couple of days ago my computer randomly started acting up. About half of my programs won't work unless I right click on them and select "Run as Administrator". Also my Internet is acting weird. I can open it and go to most web pages but anything that is Javascript doesn't work and most buttons dont work. For example I can click on a standard HTML link and it will go to the page but if i click on a button... say SEND on an email it just acts like nothing happened. I am not sure if anyone has any idea what this is but I am about to reformat my computer because I am getting so frustrated. Also I have run Macafee Virus Scan and it came up clean.

try booting up in safe mode, see if its still happening.

Ok I've done that. The applications now run when I click on them but as I cannot connect to the internet in safe mode I don't know if it is working properly.

Try rebooting after the first screen comes up start tapping the "F8" key, on the menu that comes up select "Last Known Configuration"

As Murf said, also you may have added some soft or hardware recently that has effected your system.
