Hey Guys,

I've been meaning to buy a new router for ages, i'm currently running phone line ADSL internet from BT on a BT Home Hub.
I want to buy a Netgear, but all the ones i am finding are Spec'ed as being ADSL2+..

Is this the same as ADSL, and will this netgear work with my existing internet connection?

Thanks in Advance

if i have this right, ADSL2 is the new type of ADSL in the UK...

Basically what is happening here in UK, is that ISP's are upgrading their exchanges to provide this service (i think), however, in order for us to get this ADSL 2 speed (up24Mbs) we need to purchase hardware that will allow us to recieve the data...

this will work on your existing internet connection... ...its like when USB2 came out, it would work on your comp but at a slower speed if you did not have the right hardware (usb2 ports)

Hope this makes sense...
