Ok so heres my situation. I built 5 new computers for my office. 1 server and 4 workstations. Now im using a program that needs me to set up each computers ip being static. Server ip 192.168.0.1, workstation .2,.3,.4,.5 and the subnet mas is 255.255.255.0 .. now i have them all networked together and there all seeing each other so thats all good. But I cant connect to the internet. (because of ip address). So i need to know how to go about this to get them all to connect to the internet. They are all connected to a Edimax 8 port switch, and the switch is connected to a linksys router.. If i change ips to obtain ip auto then i can connect, but i need there ips to be the static ips i setup.. ive tried setting it properties to manual. typed in my modem gateway addy and typed in the dns server also but still didnt work.. We have a static ip address here at work (DSL). Any help would be appreciated pionting me in the correct direction. ( I belive i need to setup a internet gateway from my understanding but not sure how to do that.) here is my switch and router..

Nat environment. Network Address Translation which the server will act as a router you need to network cards one for the WAN connection, and one for the local area network. This will make it your network safer instead of having all of the computers connected to the internet individually. This will make it easier to secure since, The server will be the source of the internet for the network. If you need any further help please email me at RedSamuraii@gmail.com I can help you set up nat or maybe we can talk and find another method of doing this like proxy or something.
