Unhappy HELP. sound dosen't work after re installation of windows 2000

hi. okay so my computer was having virus problems so i had to reinstall windows and now the sound on my computer doesn't work... and i dont think its a problem with the speakers because i tried pluggin in headphones and that didnt work. and i think i might have to re install a certain driver or something? and i dont really know what to do. so if anyone has any suggestions pleaseee help. thank youu.

After you reinstalled Windows, you need to find the drivers for all your devices and reinstall those as well.

What is brand on your computer? Give us that info and we can help you find the correct drivers for your sound and other devices.
