First of all i have an Asrock 939 dual-vsta motherboard and a Netgear DG834G v2 wireless router, the problem i have is the Lan driver (i think) included on the Asrock disc is the Lan driver but don't work with Vista, although it works perfectly with Xp.
I have been looking on www.asrock.com site but don't seem to have what i need.
I want to move on from Xp and enjoy Vista like every one else but can't seem to get that connection between computer and wireless router.
can any one help ?

Hello timelord, it appears there is a LAN driver in Beta for Vista 32 bit in the link below. I'm not sure if this is exactly what you need. You may want to consider getting a network adapter that is fully compatible that will work so you can enjoy the experience of networking with Windows Vista.
If you haven't already, check this out:

Thanks for your reply but had already downloaded the very same driver you directed me to but as yet not tried it but want to make sure i have the right Lan driver to do the job.
once i format this setup i have running at the moment all will be lost and should that driver fail to work i will have to reinstall Xp just to search for another driver, tis a lot of work as i don't have a spare hard drive to experiment with.
do you know if this Netgear DG834G v2 54 mbps is compatible with vista ?

Yes, it's compatible. You can see this info from the System Requirements section of your product.
