unkown files

i just came across these two files in my documents; ntuser.dat.LOG1, ntuser.dat.LOG2...... what do they do? do i need them? if not, how do i get rid of them?

Leave them alone IIDMOII. They are created by Vista and while I am not 100% certain what those files do, I believe they may log details of your session each time you log in.
