XP Professional 64x Trial

Is it worth the time to download the 120 day free trial of XP Professional x64? I see on MS that there is a trial version and I want to see if it's worth buying and if I can find drivers for it. Since I have the DFI LP nf4 SLI-DR Expert MB I guess I will have to find the drivers for it first. I guess that consists of getting nf4 X64 drivers and get Marvel Yukon drivers too. Do they even have x64 drivers for graphics cards?
Will the trial version have everything that the retail version has? Since I have a extra HD I am just going to put it on that so I can switch back just by changing boot order in the BIOS.
Does anyone know if NERO 7 Ultra Edition works on the x64 system?

Yes it will work,
Most of the system ports over,

open the tabs for more info,
A WORD TO THE WISE,
DO NOT INSTALL AS A DUAL SYSTEM,
Its buggy because a lot of current programs only run in 32 bit mode,
if you install it with other harddrives,
links in the 64 bit OS might change them,
and you might find it hard to remove the 64 bit OS With out affecting
the other harddrives,
And do not be disappointed if you do not seem to gain much,
On our user level there is not alot of 64 bit programs around at the moment,
My 4 Son is running it at this time, and most of the time the vista 64 bit pc is idle,
As most of the games and his work is on the vista 32 bit pc,
If you google ,
VISTA 64 BIT PROGRAMS AND GAMES,
You will get some idea of the learning curve you will be on,
But it will pay you to learn,
As in time the 64 bit pc will take over and you will be on top of it,
as the applications and games move over to it big time,
Looking at the timeline about 8/14 months, [at a guess]

We had the same transision when we moved from win98/me, os's
to the win xp os's and now i got to do it all over again with vista,
and I am just getting the Real hang of win xp,

From what I have been reading today about 32bit vs. 64bit, it seems as if you are right Liondad. There just isn't enough programs written out there to take advantage of the 64bit technology. So I think I will just sit back and wait until companies decide to make more programs for that OS. It's a shame too because the CPU's and MB's are being made but the software developers just aren't that concerned about 64bit technology.
Microsoft is so concerned about more money and pumping out OS's as fast as they can that they don't take advantage of it either, but that doesn't surprise me any because they rushed out with VISTA and it seems as is half the people that have switched to it have already switched back to XP.
Oh Well, someday we will have the perfect 64bit systems and programs to run on them and then we will all be able to look out our windows and watch as the pigs fly past.

I doubt this will happen since Vista is rage now, software companies will be making their software compatible with it, and possibly with the 64bit edition of Vista as well.

I really doubt if they will even do it for Vista. If they didn't jump on the band wagon when they had a chance in XP PRO I really doubt if they will since it is VISTA. It seems as if Vista isn't going over that well to begin with and most of the ones that did run out and buy it were gamers for the DirectX10. I don't see why MS just didn't come out with a update for XP with DirectX10 in it since more people have XP ..BUT... I guess that was why they put it in Vista to sell more of the OS.
To me it seems as if companies consider 64 Bit as a OS that they want nothing to do with and that is why you have such a hard time finding drivers for it. That is like when the Dual core and now the Quad core CPU's came out, there really isn't programs setup to even take advantage of the Dual core technology ...BUT...then they come out with Quad core and there is no way they are going to take advantage of that either.
