lost Linksys ?

Ruuning XP, just went thru an update. Dell Latitude D600. When I boot up my laptop would connect automaticvally to my wireless router, Linksys Wireless G. I also get a message on bootup that states, hit F1 to continue or hit F2 for setup. If I hit F1 my computer boots up normally and it does not connect to the wireless router. If I look in my network places I cannot find anything as it realtes to Linksys. I also tried system restore to an earlier period and that did not work. I cannot find the wireless icon on the task bar near the date/time area. All the correct lights on the wirelss router are working

RonF - not sure 'how much' I can help w/ the information provided - I'm running a Dell Latitude (430) 'wirelessly' off a Linksys router w/o a problem (using VISTA) - you might want to provide more details on the 'update' performed? May help others w/ suggestions - good luck! :happy:

it came back last night and now it went away again. I think it was a Windows update..... that's all I know.
Very frustrating
