Problem with Laptop on Vista

So far Vista has been running great with no problems until recently. The problem is I would close the lid and when I open it back up I get a black screen with nothing on it I can tell everything is still running just no screen. I tried using the Fn key, looked in power options etc can't seem to find the problem anybody know why it's doing this?

Hi UnSTaBLE. The problem is probably caused by outdated driver for your Video card or possibly even an outdated bios. Logon to the Acer site and see if there is an updated video driver available for your model.

Ok I found that there are new drivers for video card. I'll update them and post back if it works or doesn't work.
