mouse prob...i think

Hi,

I am having difficulties with my mouse wiping out words and dragging them as i scroll over them. There is no conflict going on with my mouse and any other program. I have reformatted my comp. and am still having probs. I am not very computer inclined so therefore I know of only a few things to look for.

Any help would be greatly appreciated for it is very frustrating.
