Not real sure on some of it Donny. They are using a form of VoIP - you call them, and they do the VoIP connection through their systems. But since this is all about phones and numbers, they have a bit of a problem keeping their numbers and info straight. For a person in the US to use the service, they are supposed to call:
USA Dial-In Access Number - 1-206-424-1330 (Boston, MA USA)
But far as I can tell that 206 area code is actually for Seattle, Washington. And can't see how it wouldn't be a long distance call, except perhaps for the people in Seattle. Still maybe cost less than a 5 minute call to another country. Not real sure about this little blurb either:
Since this is a free service, we cannot guarantee 100% call termination.
So what happens after 5 minutes passes, and the person is still talking? Curious to see what someone's next phone bill would look like after using this.
The domain owner has just a small problem with area codes as well:
1888usa, LC
Clearwater, Florida 33759
United States
(631) 867-4539
Again, far as I can tell that is a New York area code. Overall I think if I bookmark this one, I'll place it under the "Things Requiring a Ten Foot Pole" category.

?? If you have free calls to Canada Donny, then why would you use this service to make that call to Canada? But still just let us know how that phone bill looks when you receive the one for this time period.

You may have caught them in the middle of changing the website. From LDusa:
We are having issues with the direct call in line 206-424-1330, that's why we changed it to 857-217-0022, we are still tinkering with the old number.

That is a bit clearer - wonder if then folks who are not in Mass. are making a long distance call. The answer that seems always to be missing from these "free" web services is where is their source of revenue in the transactions.
Why Are We Doing It?....Our goal is to expand coverage.
Maybe so, maybe not.

It is all in their Privacy Policy (notice the key words that I highlighted in red)
