Ps3

I am getting Playstation 3 and am so excited!!!! First 2 game that I am getting is Motorstorm which is coming with it and Call of Duty 4. I have a question. Is there a way to transfer the games from my PS2 memory card on the PS3? I have some games in progress on PS2. Which brings me to my other question. Do most PS2 games play on PS3?

It's possible to get adapters and such to either transfer PS2 data to a PS3 console, or to allow a PS3 console to read a PS2 mem card directly. But mostly, I've heard, these don't work.

PS3 can play most PS2 and PSX games.
