How do I SAVE my Google search history?
Hi I would really appreciate it if someone could tell me how to do this or at least point me in the right direction or even tell me if it's impossible to do. I did a few searches of this forum and came up with nothing so apologies if this has been dealt with before. I also don't want to spend any money or start an account with Google to achieve this.
Basically I am running Firefox v2.0.0.9 and I have the Google search toolbar installed. I would like to simply copy and save every search term I have ever entered into the toolbar to Word or notepad so that I have a big list of search terms (NOT url history) I can see on one page. Any ideas? |

Re:
If you're trying to do what I think you're trying to do, as far as I know, it's impossible - unless you've got autofill turned on. That's a feature you can access in your browser, that saves your search term history and if you constantly do searches for "lolcat cheeseburger", it's what makes it pop up as a selection when you start typing "lol". If you have that on, you might be able to just hit the down arrow in a blank field and copy and paste all terms.
Impossible might be too strong a word for that, though. I know there's some site that lets you see all the terms that someone has entered in google, but you'd probably need to know your IP address for that, and you might as well be looking for the aluminum needle in the silver needlestack going at it that way. |
