Hi.
I just bought a 360 and wanted to connect it to media center.
live works fine. And i have called xbox tech support a few times and they directed me towards my router or isp provider.
my router tech support said ah ah, has nothin to do with the router.
so i did my own test.
i connected my xbox directly to my labtop and magically worked.
so router or modem.. gotta be the problem
I have a home network set up with a wired computer, labtop and the 360.
have windows firewall only and have disabled it for testing
running vista premium media player 11
using comcast modem plus a linksys router model befsr41 v4.2
any ideas. as to whether i do need to open ports on my router?
anything appreciated because linksys support and xbox support is no help
