According to Windows update, no updates are available for my computer. I am running Vista (AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 4400+) with Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit. ?????

They are not available from Windows Update yet jayt. They are available from Microsoft Download. KB940199 is a patch only for systems that need it. KB942763 is a Customer Preview Release and will be available.

This is a Customer Preview Release. At the conclusion of this preview phase, the final version of the update will be released via Windows Update. This update is provided to you and licensed under the Windows Vista License Terms.

I guess KB944023 is an optional download.

Thank you for your help. I know all most nothing about computers. bit. On that page all I saw was 32 and 64. Because of my lack of knowldge of computers I have more questions. Which one do I have? The only number I can find is 32 bit. I don't even know what info. to give you so you'll know what number I have, 86 or 64, sorry about that. Again thanks, tony.

If you have 32-bit you need the 86 download version.

Anyone know or hear anything about SP1?

Hey Tony cbo0485 is right if you have 32bit you would download (x86) and of course 64 bit would be (x64)

If you need to know which one you have check the link below same as above only follow the directions and it will let you know which version you have.
