Please provide more information. What are your computer specs? Does the game load at all or just fail to start? Have you rebooted your computer and tried again?

What is your video card? The game requires a minimum of:
# Microsoft Windows XP / Vista
# 2.8 GHz processor (3.0 GHz for Vista)
# 512 MB of system RAM (1 GB for Vista)
# 8.1 GB of free disk space
# 128 MB graphics card with DirectX 9.0 Shader 2.0 support (nVIDIA GeForce FX 5950 / ATI Radeon 9500 or better)
So far, you do not meet the CPU requirement... Sometimes you can get around this with low settings, but if your video card is not up to par, your probably out of luck.

For the note, meeting the minimum requirements of a game does not always mean it will be playable and vice versa. Proper video card versions are important for proper operation for gaming.

ok , you probably got an integrated Video card , which can't run NFS Carbon/Pro Street , it happened with me 2 when i tried to start carbon , you meet the system req. in Video Memory but you don't have nVIDIA GeForce FX 5950 / ATI Radeon 9500 or Better , which are always better than integrated video cards , but one and set it if you really want to play it...
