I'm running Vista Home Premium, and after some 6 months of adapting to changes, MS saw fit to alter from previous editions of their OS, I'm wondering now just how seamless they designed the latest features, introduced with this version.
When opting to email images I'm viewing from within Windows Photo Gallery,
a dialog box is presented, that appears to provide the beneficial function, of allowing you to select the desired resolution for the image to be displayed in.
I've long dealt with the problem of pictures saved at a resolution of 300px, when attached directly through the Windows mail client, displaying largely out of proportion when viewed in an email window. In contrast, when initiating an email from within the Photo Gallery interface, and setting the resolution option to 800 x 600, they open at an ideal viewing size.
The problem I'm having, is that I often find myself replying to received email, and attempting to then attach images to the email client, stored within the Windows Photo Gallery, and find no access to this resolution feature.
Any viable solutions to this, other than opening up the Photo Gallery, initiating another email from it, then copy/pasting everything across from one to the other, would be much appreciated.
