Have a quick question. I've read on several forums that if you have DOS 6.2.2 and WIN 95 (I have both) that this line in DOS Config.sys should be there: DEVICE=C:\Windows\EMM386.EXE RAM AUTO, etc. and that if it's not, it should be added. Windows and DOS is supposed to work more effficiently with the line in. Since it was not in my Configuration System, I typed it in and saved it. But, when I rebooted, DOS, as it was booting up, had a line stating that EMM386 is not installed?????????? I remember way back when, when I had DOS 5 when Win 3.0 came out, EMM386 was put in and it did make a difference in the efficiency of the computer. Why when I typed it in, did it reboot with the comment EMM386 not installed? I didn't think there was ever anything else to do but add the line to your Config.Sys. Please help.
