I really need help here:
Recently for some unknown reason I have been unable to listen to music on Myspace pages, or visit flash enabled sites such as nike.com. Can anyone shed some light on this issue? I have tried un-installing and re-installing the new flash player multiple times, and still nothing. An interesting note is that Flash player does not show in the Add/Remove programs List, or, the "Manage Add-Ons" list. The Myspace Error message that I get is as follows: "Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Macromedia's Flash Player. Click here to get the latest flash player." |

Check to see that you dont have scripts DISABLED!!
When i try to view http://nike.com with sceipts disabled all i see is a white screen (Nothing loads) but if i enable scripts,it loads straight away. (Some sites redirect you and if scripts are disabled they cant redirect (Not all but some)) Welcome to the site ![]() EDIT: I was right, this site does redirect... When i goto http://www.nike.com with scripts enabled it points me to http://www.nike.com/index.jhtml Looks like the whole page is flash based..........

Hello..
Thanks for replying guys.
I have updated to the latest version of flash. The browser I'm using is Internet explorer 7. When I go to the page to install flash, it supposedly installs and then gives me the "Flash Player successfully Installed" message. Scripts are enabled. __________________________________________________ _______________ The message I get from http://www.nike.com is this: "You'll need the Flash 8 player to see all that Nike.com has to offer. Please click here to download Flash. If you want to shop for Nike products on our non-Flash store, please click here. If you are a Nike employee and want to shop for Nike products on our non-Flash store, please click here." -------------------------------------------------------------------------- If flash is installed, should'nt it be displayed in the Add/Remove programs List? Also, there is nothing displayed in the Add-Ons list for IE7 ( nothing to do with Flash that is). Last edited by Kslip; December 4th, 2007 at 08:06 AM. Reason: forgot to include message that flash player website gives me after install. |

You can try resetting it
I had the same problem not too long ago and I reset I.E. Go to the tools drop down on the tool bar, click internet options, click on advanced, and then click reset. You will lose add-ons and the like, but it might help. After doing that, go back to the Adobe website and download the latest flash player...I think it's 9. www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer Hope that helps.
