I've been having a problem the last few days where I'm browsing the internet and all of a sudden everything just freezes up and when I try to close the browser it says that firefox had problems shutting down so I have to click end now. After that, I can't get back into firefox and I can't even get back on the internet through any browser! I have to restart my computer which takes forever and I get "XPCOM event receiver" and I have to click end now and then it finally restarts my computer. Once everything is back on, everything works fine again for a while and then the same problem happens all over again eventually. Is this a problem with firefox? I don't think it has happened when I've used IE by itself. Once I start using firefox for a while it does it. I have googled all over the place trying to find a sollution to this and I just find more people talking about it with no sollutions. I've tried reinstalling firefox, getting rid of plugins, temporarily uninstalling AVG just to see if there was a conflict, uninstalling some other things, and it still keeps happening. Anybody have any suggestions on this? Thank you!

Could someone please answer this for me or at least give me a suggestion if you could? I'd like to start using firefox again but I can't as long as it's doing this to me. I'm forced to use IE and Opera right now! Thanks.
