Hello Everyone: (Oh, Oh, he's on someone else's pc now, look out)!!!This friend of mine has WindowsME and keeps getting this Error message (especiallly) when on Google>>"iexplore has caused an error in MSHTML.DLL" How can he get rid of this .dll pickle from popping up? Thanks, Tom

First possibility would be 'malware' causing it. Have him download, update and run Spybot-S&D

If no joy, Try repairing Internet Explorer.
Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs. Double click on Internet Explorer and choose repair.

In addition to the excellent advice you have already received, if your friend is running IE6 in WINME, the information in this MSKB article (http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=318153) may be helpful.

SpyBot, checks out ok, i just did a IE Repair, so, if Error message doesn't repeat, he's back in business! Thank You tb525.
