I need some advice on which Internet Security you would recommend. My laptop is coming towards the end of its subscription, I normally use Norton Internet Security but after using the 2007 edition on both my laptop and desktop machines I have now decided to make a change, the reason for this is purely because I am experiencing 10min+ startup times on both computers, I know this is due to Norton because I uninstalled the one on my desktop and the startup improved dramatically, when i reinstalled Norton back on i realised the appearance of ads popping up and to stop these I had to download the 'add-on' pack which is where the problems started. Anyways, back to your recommendations, at the moment I am looking at Kaspersky, Mcaffee, Panda or maybe even Norton 360 if I knew that the same problem wouldn't reoccur. I am very interested in what you guys think and will appreciate your views, perhaps you may even recommend one that I haven't mentioned.

My desktop is a HP Pentium Dual core 3.2ghz Processor, 2gb RAM, 400gb Hard Drive, 512mb Graphics Card.
My laptop is a Packard Bell Pentium 4 2.4ghz Processor, 512mb RAM 40gb Hard Drive 32mb Graphics Card.

Thank you in advance

I use McAfee and am very satisfied. I also used to use Norton and switched because it was making my computer very slow. It took a little time adjusting, but I like it a lot better than Norton. ;)
