Well it is actually several pistons broke.
Kia Ora Kiwis and Hello everyone else.
I love the new page set up some one obviously did a lot of work on the site. Looks really neat. Took me ages to get logged in for some reason * thought Dave had banned me* but got there in the end.
Hays Kansas is where my truck threw its final last gasp. I gave some consideration to giving Red and Surf a ring but the 2.00 am thing put me off a bit. Thought it might be a bit late for supper so called a wrecker instead.
I now have a laptop and a call phone so I can connect the cell to the computer and get online (albeit at 14400kbs) so I might be able to visit this sight more often now.
Hoping that my truck will be ready to roll again tomorrow and I can get some miles (and money) under my seat.
Hope everyone is in great shape. I will check back later tonight.
:) :)

Kia Ora Jaytee - hey, great to hear how your trip is going. Dave is on holiday in the UK at the moment and I dont think he will be back for another week. Harrie and her significant other have joined Dave and his wife so I'll bet it's a riot. :D

Hi Anne Marie,
Good to hear from you. OMG the poms will wonder what hit them with that crew in town. I think you are right it will be a wall to wall laugh.
My tour is going pretty good (lets forget last month) I have done thousands of miles and enjoyed most of them. The only bummer is that you do not get much time to go sightseeing. eg I have driven straight past (well 32 miles) the Niagra falls four times now as my timetable did not allow me to stop. Then another time I might get stuck in the middle of nowhere waiting for a load. Still thems the breaks. At least the snow ice and freezing rain are all gone now.
Take care  :)

Sounds like a great way to see the country though Jaytee :D

Ummm...we were experiencing temps in the high 90's in Hawkes Bay :p
