Problem

I've got a problem...
I had this really big virus thing and when i was fixing that a guy helped me to do something that nothing opens on windows startup and now it's fine but i want the stuff like soundman and things back how can i do it?

What operating system are you using? Did you use a program like HijackThis! to disable the startups?

If you didn't use HijackThis and are running XP, click Start > Run > type msconfig and click OK. Click the startup tab. check everything you want to load at startup and click apply/ok and reboot.

i used some kind a program... in msconfig there are only msnmsngr ctfmon kav and 1 more thing but i need more of them

Lastly, why don't you get the guy that originally helped you to fix what they did?

I think it was HIjackThis because That was the main file i used.. and i dont remember the guy who originally helped me:dizzy:

If HijackThis was used, HT created backups.

Open HijackThis and click View The List Of Backups.
Check the items that you wish to restore and click restore.

Make sure you know exactly what you are restoring, you don't want to restore any malware files...
