I've been having trouble lately. One is sometimes (not very often, but enough to be annying) when I click on a link to go to another page, the new window disappears as soon as it comes up.

Another problem is that I haven't been able to get my Outlook Express to work ever since I moved and got my new ISP (Verizon) set-up. My parents didn't have any trouble w/ theirs, but they have a Win XP and I have Win ME, so I figure it's my computer.

Shortly after moving but before I got my Verizon account set up, I had to take my hard drive in to get rid of an error that just wouldn't go away browseuii.dll..or something like that. The error is gone, but I can't help but wonder if they did something to it to cause this.

I tried to get delete some stuff, but there's a bunch of stuff that I'm not sure if I should or not. How do I know what I need or not? I'd appreciate any help or suggestions. I'm not real experienced w/ the technical stuff.

Hi smj775 - welcome to CTH. Perhaps it would help if we had a look at your startups for you. We could then walk you through any changes that you need to make,

Go here (http://www.spywareinfo.com/files/startuplist.zip) and download, unzip and run Startup List. It will generate a log file. Copy the log and paste it back into this thread
