printer
hello. I have a H.P. 640c inkjet color printer which I'm alway"s
buying ink cartiages for ,with 3 kids using the printer,can I just use the black ink cartiage only,or do I need both. I'm going broke buying cartiage. doowooper

Hi, I have several HP600 series printers (using a 670c at the moment) and as far as I know they all require both cartridges to be installed to operate.
But you should be able to set the default settings to print "greyscale" (and normal or draft rather than "best") to save ink. When you want a colour print, you manually adjust the "properties" at print time.
