I'm going back for sure!
I have to make a post on our trip. It was two great, great weeks. I adored England. It was SO pretty and I loved the people, loved the cars and the roads and the backwards driving, hehe, loved the weather, everything. It was so fun meeting my friends again, and hey, met Degs, too! He's a downright personable bloke! I swear I miss about a word or two out of Dave at least every sentence, and didn't do too well with Degsy, either, but that's alright! It was great. First my hubby and I went to London for two days, and it was really fun. I liked London very much. Two days isn't nearly enough, that's for sure. But I think I liked central England best. Dave's mum is the most gracious lady I have ever, ever met, and I'm totally serious. She was a pleasure through and through. I can't get over her. She had tea for us every afternoon, and she went with us to the Cotswolds and York and Bradgate Park and she knew a lot! I bombarded her with questions, couldn't help it! Mrs. Lufbra helped me when I was getting change for things, LOL, that made me feel more secure! I'm crazy about Mrs. Lufbra, too! That Dave..........he puts on a lot, but I'd say.....well, I'd say - he deserves his wonderful wife and mum! AND we met his brother and nephew, too, they were quite fun! We went to eat a lot in some great places! That's weird, how you order your food at the bar, LOL. I have loads and loads of pictures. I'm going to try to figure a way to make them thumbnails and then put them on my webspace, so people can see some or see all, whatever they wish. Tons from England and tons from Germany, too.........OMG, Rothenburg in Germany is - is, well, fantastico! I really sort of hate to be home. I checked out the English chocolate and it truly is better like I've heard, and I have a Cadbury wrapper and plan on comparing it to the same Cadbury bar over here, to see the difference in ingredients! The Tower of London was too cool.......ya'll have some weird history, hehe! I do love Ole' John's Tower (the beer mug thingy in the piccie before) - even if I don't know who he was! That was around Dave's hometown, in Bradgate Park. He'll correct me if I have any of that wrong, I'm sure. I was very impressed with Lufborough and the surrounding area. One thing I went crazy over was all the yellow rape fields there in England.......I LOVE that stuff! It's so pretty! York blew my mind, I could definitely go back there. In the Cotswolds, it was just so neat! You all have so many old, old, OLD churches and buildings that it makes the "old" buildings here seem........new! Anyway, I could go on and on and on. I had thought before I left that it might be my only time to go overseas, as it does turn out to be expensive, but now, I have it in my mind to just make the money and go again! I did almost get hit a few times in London from looking the wrong way to cross the street, LOL! Oh, the cabs there cracked me up! I love those cars! And they drive like maniacs but no one seemed to have road rage! My other friend's hubby was brave enough to drive in England, and he did excellently! I swear I don't think I could pull that off - especially in the roundabouts! I'd be history and take some UK folks into history too, I'm sure!
I might have to make one more post with a few links to piccies, but then I'll go for the thumbnail thingy. I think I'd like to check out Cornwall there, and Manchester, and.......well, just more! And more Germany.......then maybe, maybe Spain! Oh geeeezzz, let me get off of here!

Tram, it certainly has crossed my mind, you do know that, eh? Hehehehe! We will have to do it some time! Do you know, I don't have real "friends" in my life for the last 10, maybe 20 years, but I sure have loved every friend that I met first on the net! It's so weird...........
Piccies, they will be coming. First I have to crash. My time system is completely off, LOL.
