Like the title says, I've just bought a new computer:
Dell XPS 420
Quadcore Processor
8800gt Graphics card
2gb ddr2 RAM.

Straight out of the box, I turned it on and I was able to use it for a few minutes and then I got the Blue Screen.
Which was similar to:

I tried returning it to Factory settings and I'm still getting the same error.
It's been fine for the last 4 hours but, I'm afraid that it will just happen, and happen again and especially how Dell hardly offer a Warranty.

When I came to my PC this morning I had a "problem reports and soloutions" page. There was plenty of Microsoft programmes which had shut down unexpectadly and it also showed me Windows had shut down unexpectedly.
When I clicked on more information this is what I got:

"Problem signature

OS Version: 6.0.6000.2.0.0.768.3
Locale ID: 2057

Files that help describe the problem
Mini012308-09.dmp

I'm stumped. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

I suggest calling Dell and explaining. That computer has at least a one-year warranty. If it's giving you trouble right out of the box it will keep on giving you trouble.

Dell support people have a set script they are required to follow. They have no choice so just go through the steps with them.

I've had to use the Dell warranty twice and they replaced the parts at no charge. They even sent a tech from 75 miles away to do the work (that I could have done myself but they insisted).

If you have a warranty, use it.
But, anyway, if I were testing it, i'd check the ram first
