Hi there.

Working on a Windows Vista 64 Machine...:curse:

Trying to install Norton Internet Security 2007, and it tells me that I need to download a Patch from symantec to make it compatable with Vista before i can install it.

I went to symantec's website and tried to download this compatability patch, but it says I can't download the patch because I don't have Norton Internet Security installed:confused:

Can someone please get me a link to this patch i seek or at least give me some kind of advice, anything will be appreciated:cool:

Hi Electrocat. I was under the impression that the update is an updated version of NIS 2007 rather than a patch. See below:

Many installation problems have been fixed in the latest 2007 Vista compatible product update. If you have Norton AntiVirus 2007 or Norton Internet Security 2007 that was purchased online before January 20 2007 or was purchased from a store before Feb 1 and you have a valid subscription, then you are eligible for the 2007 Vista compatible product update. To update your Norton program, click here.
