Hi im new and dont know a whole lot about computers so i apologize in advance :)
Recently got a netgear wireless router. My sister and i have exactly the same laptops, with the same inbuilt wireless. Her's connects but mine does not. As far as i can tell all the options in the wireless connection settings are exactly the same.
When i "view available wireless networks" the Netgear network is there... so i assume my wireless on my laptop is working else i would not be able to see the network?
Despite this i cant seem to be able to connect at all, its driving me crazy!
When i try to repair the connection it says that there may be a blockage (or something) where i cant connect or that the network will not allow me to connect.
THe network does have WPA but i obviously know the password so that is not the problem.
Thanks alot people, hope you can help.
(please try not to use so much technical lingo please because i probably wont understand :( )
