over the past few days, ive noticed that my computer has been slowing down, and opening any application takes longer than it normally does. i realized that this is because something seems to be using up all of my physical memory. even when the computer is idling with no running programs, the physical memory usage bounces between 60 and 90%, while the CPU usage goes anywhere between 10 and 100%. normally it wouldnt even get that high when i had multiple programs running at the same time. i've checked the running processes, and i dont see anything out of the ordinary thats consuming an unusual amount of memory. i ran both virus scans and spyware sweeps, and didnt find anything.
is there anything i can do to try and fix this?
