Welcome clark230.

Let's see if you are in the right forum.

What kind/brand/model is it?

We should be able to you out clark230. A bit more info than the make and model of the laptop, that Qualanqui would help us along.

Do you want to connect the laptop wirelessly or wired?
What are you connecting it to (make & model of router or modem)?
What version of windows do you have on the laptop?
