Hi tonyab72. Send me the below files and I'll see if I can help you.

C:\Windows\Minidump\Mini012808-02.dmp
C:\Users\Tonya\AppData\Local\Temp\WER-421124-0.sysdata.xml

Copy them to a new folder, zip it up (this is important) and email it to me (include a link to this thread) and title your email "Requested Files". My address is anniefriday@xtra.co.nz. I will post back when I have checked it out.

It would have been useful if you had sent me sysdata.xml and a link to this topic as I requested.

The error is a Vista driver fault probably caused by HSX_CNXT.sys. This is a Conexant Modem driver. Try updating it or roll back to a previous installation.

Exactly how do I do this?

Try a roll back first, that will be the quickest. Go to Device Manager in Control Panel and expand Modems. You should see a Conexant driver. Doubleclick on it and click on the Driver Tab. Is Roll Back available (not greyed out)? If so, click on it and ok the change.
